국제평화태권도단(国际和平跆拳道团, International Peace Taekwondo Group) 소개

국제평화태권도단은 한중 간 체육·문화·예술 교류 및 교육 사업을 목적으로, 2011년 중국 베이징에 설립된 북경원식국제문화유한공사(北京元植国际文化有限公司, Beijing WonShik International Culture Co., LTD)를 기반으로 출범한 태권도 문화 단체입니다.

이 단체는 중국 수도체육대학교(Capital University of Physical Education and Sports)와의 협력을 통해, 중국 최초의 태권도국제인재반(Taekwondo International Talent Project) 개설을 추진하며, 태권도 교육의 국제화를 선도하고 있습니다.

수도체육대학교는 한국을 포함한 213개국을 대상으로 학사, 석사, 박사 과정의 우수한 태권도 인재들을 특별장학생으로 선발하여 체계적으로 양성하고 있으며, 국제평화태권도단은 이러한 인재들이 글로벌 무대에서 활약할 수 있도록 지원하고 있습니다.

선발된 학생들은 한국, 중국, 파키스탄, 인도, 네팔, 베트남, 몽골, 카자흐스탄, 스페인 등 다양한 국가 출신으로, 각국의 문화를 존중하고 이해하며 태권도를 통한 국제 평화와 한중 우호 증진에 앞장서고 있습니다.

국제평화태권도단은 이러한 글로벌 인재들과 함께: 태권도를 기반으로 한 국제 문화 교류와 화합, 세계 각국을 무대로 한 평화 태권도 시범 및 문화관광 콘텐츠 개발, 태권도의 세계화 및 국제사회 속 위상 강화 등의 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있습니다. 앞으로도 국제평화태권도단은 한중 문화 교류를 넘어, 국제적인 문화 교류와 세계 평화 증진의 가교 역할을 성실히 수행해 나갈 것입니다.

International Peace Taekwondo Group (国际和平跆拳道团)

The International Peace Taekwondo Group is a cultural Taekwondo organization founded in 2011 in Beijing, China, based on the establishment of Beijing WonShik International Culture Co., LTD. It was created with the aim of promoting Korea-China exchange in the fields of sports, culture, arts, and education.

In partnership with the prestigious Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (CUPES) in Beijing, the group has taken a leading role in launching China’s first "Taekwondo International Talent Project", helping to globalize Taekwondo education.

CUPES selects outstanding Taekwondo talents from 213 countries, including South Korea, offering them scholarships at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. The International Peace Taekwondo Group supports these students so they can grow into global leaders through a structured and comprehensive educational process.

Selected students come from countries such as China, South Korea, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Vietnam, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Spain, and they are dedicated to respecting and understanding diverse cultures while contributing to international peace and Korea-China friendship through Taekwondo.

Together with these global talents, the International Peace Taekwondo Group engages in:

Promoting international cultural exchange and harmony through Taekwondo, Developing global cultural tourism content and Taekwondo peace demonstration programs, Contributing to the globalization of Taekwondo and strengthening its presence in the international community.

Looking ahead, the International Peace Taekwondo Group aims to go beyond Korea-China relations and play a vital role as a bridge for international cultural exchange and the promotion of world peace.
