“元”의 의미와 국제평화태권도단의 정신
“元”은 두 이(二)와
어진 사람 인(儿)이 결합된 글자로,
본래 만물의 근원, 시작, 근본, 원형(原形)을
상징한다.
그 안에는 사람이 어질고 바르며 중심을 지킨다는 동양적 가치가 담겨 있다.
공자께서는 말씀하셨다.
“剛毅(강의) 木訥(목눌) 近仁(근인)”
굳세고 강개하며, 소박하고 말이 적으나,
그 마음이 어진(仁)에 가깝다는
뜻이다.
국제평화태권도단의 로고는
이 가르침을 따라 둥근 원(圓) 안에 ‘어진 사람(仁)’의 형상을
담아냈다.
붉은 원은 조화·순환·평화, 내부의 필획은 인(仁)과
도(道)의 정신을 상징한다.
우리는 이 정신을 바탕으로 다음의 네 가지 수련 목표를 세운다.
- 강직(剛直) – 정의롭고 굳센 태도
- 신념(信念) – 흔들리지 않는 중심과 책임
- 순수(純粹) – 마음의 깨끗함과 태권도의 본질 추구
- 진중(鎭重) – 깊이 있게 생각하고 행동하는 자세
국제평화태권도단은
이 네 가지 가치를 통해 정신과 육체를 함께 단련하고,
세계 평화에 기여하는 세계 속의 동량(棟梁),
즉 국제사회의 중심 인재를 양성하고자 한다.
이것이 우리가 로고 속에 담은 간절한 바람이자 사명이다.
The Meaning of “元” and the Spirit of the International Peace Taekwondo Group
The character “元 (Yuan)” is composed of Er(二, two) and Ren(儿, a person), symbolizing the origin, beginning,
foundation, and primitive form of all things.
It embodies the essential Eastern value that a person should be benevolent,
upright, and steadfast at the center of all actions.
Confucius
taught:
“Gang Yi Mu Ne, Jin Ren” (剛毅
木訥 近仁)
To be firm and resolute, simple and moderate in speech,
yet always remain close to benevolence (仁).
The logo of
the International Peace Taekwondo Group (IPT) reflects this teaching.
Within the circular red form, we depict the figure of an upright,
benevolent person (仁).
The red circle represents harmony, continuity, and peace,
while the bold black strokes express the spirit of benevolence (仁) and the Way (道).
Based on this philosophy, we have established four core training values:
- Integrity (剛直) – Righteousness and unwavering strength
- Conviction (信念) – Inner stability, responsibility, and purpose
- Purity (純粹) – A clear mind and devotion to Taekwondo’s true essence
- Depth & Dignity (鎭重) – Thoughtful judgment and grounded action
Through these
values, the International Peace Taekwondo Group cultivates both mind and
body,
striving to nurture individuals who become pillars of global society,
contributing to world peace and serving as trusted leaders on the
international stage.
This is the earnest aspiration and solemn mission contained within our logo.
“元”字的含义与国际和平跆拳道团的精神
“元”字由二与儿组合而成，象征着万物之本、起始、根基与原型。
其中蕴含着东方哲学中“为人应当仁厚、正直、守住中心”的价值观。
孔子曰：
“剛毅 木訥 近仁”
做人应当坚毅果敢、质朴寡言，
而其内心则应始终接近仁德（仁）。
国际和平跆拳道团（IPT）的标志正是依据此理念设计而成：
在圆形（圓）之中呈现出一个仁者（仁）的形象。
红色圆圈象征和谐、循环与和平，
而粗犷的黑色笔触则体现仁心（仁）与大道（道）的精神。
基于这一精神，我们确立了四项核心修炼目标：
- 刚直（剛直）：正义果断、坚毅有力
- 信念（信念）：内心坚定、勇于承担责任
- 纯粹（純粹）：心性纯净、追求跆拳道的本质
- 镇重（鎭重）：思考深刻、行动稳重
国际和平跆拳道团以此四大价值为根基，
旨在锤炼身心合一，
培养能够成为世界之栋梁（棟梁）、
为世界和平作出贡献的国际型人才。
这正是我们寄托于标志之中的真切愿望与庄重使命。
