2025년 10월 18일, 북경대학교 100주년 기념 광장에서 제22회 국제문화제가 성황리에 개최되었습니다. 이번 행사에는 <국제평화태권도단>의 초청 태권도 시범 공연도 함께하여 더욱 특별한 자리가 되었답니다.
이번 문화제의 주제는 "지혜로 오대륙을 잇고, 오래된 아름다운 연분(燕緣)에 우정을 그리다"였는데요, 북경대학교(燕園)의 특별한 인연을 바탕으로 세계 각국의 문화와 우정을 함께 나누는 뜻깊은 시간이었습니다.
개막식 이후에는 약 100개국에서 모인 북경대 유학생들이 각국의 전통 의상, 노래, 춤, 그리고 음식을 통해 백주년 기념 광장에 작은 "지구촌"을 만들어냈어요. 참석한 교직원과 학생들은 다양한 체험 프로그램을 통해 세계 각국의 문화를 생생하게 느낄 수 있었습니다.
이외에도 국제 푸드 존, 무형문화재 예술 전시, 문화 워크숍, 체스 대회, 주제 사진 전시 등 다채로운 프로그램이 마련되어, 참가자들은 오감으로 세계의 아름다움을 경험하며 "각자의 아름다움을 누리고, 함께 어우러지다"는 문화적 가치를 깊이 공감할 수 있었습니다.

We Joined the 22nd Peking University International Cultural Festival with a Taekwondo Performance!**
On October 18, 2025, the 22nd International Cultural Festival was successfully held at Peking University's Centennial Square. This event was made even more special by the invited Taekwondo demonstration performance by the <International Peace Taekwondo Group>.
The theme of this year's festival was "Connecting Five Continents with Wisdom, Painting Friendship on a Lasting Yan-Yuan Bond." It was a meaningful occasion to share cultures and friendship from around the world, based on the unique connections fostered at Peking University (Yanyuan).
Following the opening ceremony, Peking University students from approximately 100 countries created a miniature "global village" at the Centennial Square. They showcased their cultures through traditional clothing, songs, dances, and food. The attending faculty and students could vividly experience cultures from around the world through various interactive programs.
In addition, a variety of other programs were prepared, including an international food zone, intangible cultural heritage art exhibitions, cultural workshops, a chess tournament, and a thematic photo exhibition. Through these, participants could experience the world's beauty with all their senses and deeply appreciate the cultural value of "Appreciating our individual beauties while harmonizing together."
