한·중은 1992년 8월 24일 수교 이후 30주년을 맞이했다. 주중 한국태권도시범단은 한·중 수교 30주년을 기념해 기본동작 30개, 격파 30개, 기본 연합동작 30초, 태권무 30초 등 다양한 태권도 동작들을 특별히 편성해 한·중 양국의 문화교류가 한 단계 도약하기를 기원했다. 이와 함께 유승민 IOC 선수 부위원장, 중국 양양 IOC 선수위원, 세계 최초로 히말라야 16좌 완등하신 엄홍길대장, 한국체육학회 김도균회장, 칭화대학교 체육부 치오준교수, 1992년 바로셀로나 올림픽 마라톤 금메달리스트 황영조, 2004년 아테네 올림픽 태권도 금메달리스트 문대성, 2000년 시드니 올림픽 양궁 금메달리스트 윤미진, 2000년 시드니 올림픽 태권도 금메달리스트 정재은 등 한중 양국 체육계 인사들과 주중 한국대사관 관계자들도 30주년을 축하하는 영상을 전달했다.
